NIX® Celebrates Continued Growth with Fleet Service Partners Expansion

Investment in new Evansville facility marks another milestone in NIX® Companies’ continued growth and commitment to skilled trades businesses

POSEYVILLE, Ind. — September 28, 2026 — NIX® Companies celebrated another milestone in its continued growth on Thursday, September 24, with the grand opening of the expanded Fleet Service Partners (FSP) facility on Evansville’s north side.

Fleet Service Partners, a NIX® Companies brand launched in 2025, was created by bringing together three established Evansville-area businesses — Indiana Body Works, Elpers Truck Equipment and Midwest Trailer Sales — into one unified operation focused on commercial vehicles, fleets and equipment.

The new facility at 8136 Baumgart Road represents the next step in that vision, bringing more of FSP’s team and capabilities together at one location while significantly expanding capacity to serve customers throughout Greater Evansville and the Midwest.

Customers, community leaders, industry partners and team members joined NIX® Companies and FSP for the September 24 celebration, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours, equipment demonstrations and an open house.

The ceremony included remarks from Tyler Greathouse, General Manager of Fleet Service Partners; Matthew Nix, President and fifth-generation owner of NIX® Companies; and Evansville Deputy Mayor Lindsey Snyder.

Investing in Businesses Built to Last

With roots dating back to 1902, NIX® Companies has grown through five generations of family ownership by investing in people, capabilities and businesses positioned for long-term growth.

The creation of Fleet Service Partners reflects that approach.

Rather than operating Indiana Body Works, Elpers Truck Equipment and Midwest Trailer Sales as separate businesses, NIX® Companies saw an opportunity to combine their decades of experience and complementary capabilities into one stronger platform.

Today, FSP provides truck equipment and upfitting, paint and body repair, maintenance and repair, trailer sales and service, parts and accessories, and custom solutions for light-, medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles and equipment.

The expanded Baumgart Road operation strengthens that platform with 10 large service bays, two 10-ton bridge cranes, four 5-ton hoists, a 60-foot paint booth and a dedicated paint mix room.

The result is greater capacity for the business and a simpler experience for customers — fewer stops and one trusted partner capable of supporting their vehicles and equipment throughout their working life.

Continued Investment in Evansville

The FSP expansion represents NIX® Companies’ continued commitment to investing in skilled trades businesses and the communities they serve.

By bringing operations and team members together, the new facility provides FSP with the space, equipment and resources needed to continue growing while creating additional opportunities to serve commercial fleets and businesses throughout the region.

Construction of the facility was led by Key Construction, with financing support from German American Bank.

Numerous FSP industry partners also participated in the grand opening, including CTW Electrical, DeJana Liftgate, Logan Truck Bodies, IMT, Buyers Products, VMAC, Vanair, Worksport, Maxon Liftgate, GoLight, ECCO, AG Body, Meyer Distributing, Truck Covers USA and others.

For NIX® Companies, the completion of the Baumgart Road expansion is both a celebration of how far Fleet Service Partners has come since its launch and an investment in where the business is headed next.
